My Way - Losing weight every week...and measuring my progress by the size of "Marks and Spencer's" Jeans I'm wearing. Not using scales at all. Not at all. As I started this diet, I joined a gym and they weighed me and the number is in the computer records but I didn't look and asked not to be told. At the end I can weigh once, and know how much I lost in total. I am learning to know I'm losing by the fact that I am getting so tuned to the way clothes fit, that I can tell. This way, is working for me. Losing my way from a UK Size 28 (US 24) to the bottom of a UK Size 14 (US 10)...that's a total of 7 and 3/4 sizes to lose to reach my goal! Today.....I'm a Size 12...8 sizes lost in 15 months. That's 100+% of my long-term goal achieved....and I've had to make my goal lower! I got to a UK Size 14 and beyond to a UK size 12! Please feel free to email me if you want to say anything in confidence or need to send me a message! anewdawn@sky.com Dawn
I'm a 48 year old single Mum to two beautiful daughters and have far more experience of yo-yo dieting than I either want or is good for me. In January 2011 when I began I had a lot of weight to lose and want to use a blog to be accountable to ME on for losing the weight and doing the thing I have never managed to do ..to maintain the loss. I'm determined to succeed in 2012 and beyond. I keep my real name private here because choose to retain my anonymity to let me feel free to be as honest as I can be and not hold back. I hope you understand this
